If you go SOA in the rear, and then add leafs, wont that end up lifting it even more? Or do you mean remove some mj leafs and replace with xj ones so make it not as tall? dont you already have spacers in the front? Maybe leave the stock leaf packs for ~6ish" of lift in the rear (maybe remove one leaf). and mix the lift springs and spacers in the front? for a like 5ish inch lift?

Rear soa can take more than just swapping the springs. A traction bar is almost always required to eliminate axle wrap. I did a lot of work to get a flexxy 7" lift while maintaining sua on the rear of mine. Going soa for that amount of lift would have been easy initially, but more work in the long run.

opps just noticed the double post. but you could also use stock WJ control arms (im sure jake has some around) I'm not sure how much lift they are good for. But i read alot they are an upgrade. and with the bend in them, they clear ur tires at full lock. So then you would just have to deal with the trackbar, witch im sure if you shop around. You could find one semi cheap used. Im going to need to get a new one when I put my axles in, but that could be months and months from now. and im not sure if i'll just try and find a way to mod it to fit the hi-steer mount on the axle. But your best bet would just be to try it, and see how it looks, and then mess around with lead combos til you find something thats level and is still flexy

2" might look a little odd on a short truck, on the plus side it will help your fuel economy due to the better aerodynamics.

what he said. i tried soa on my yj front and rear.

all sorts of issues with steering on the front.

i obviously went in a different direction, thank God I found somebody to buy my axles with the soa setup.

i suggest looking into the future as to where u want to end up and not stopping til u get there.

i made that mistake.. now i'm satisfied, well almost. i need a few things, love to have arbs instead of welded difs..
